Elizabeth Olsen in pre-fall Christian Dior. Not a huge fan to be honest and usually I am a huge fan of Elizabeth Olsen and everything she chooses to be. I loved the pre-fall no sleeves look so I just feel the sleeves on Elizabeth made the dress look a little unflattering and too covered up for someone so young and beautiful.
Felicity Jones in Johanna Johnson. It’s not uncommon for Felicity to show up to events in black so when I saw her in a black leather Johanna Johnson dress I wasn’t surprised. I think her casual hair makes the overall look look unfinished, but somehow Felicity still pulls it off and she looks so beautiful, ugh love her.
Although I would have loved to see her in a gown, only Sofia Coppola could wear a Yves Saint Laurent jumpsuit to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and pull it off to some degree. No one else could do that. No one else I say.
Emma Stone in Chanel Couture on the left and Giambattista Valli Couture on the right. I was actually a supporter of Emma Stone in Valli and really loved the dress on her when she showed up, but now seeing her in Chanel Couture I’m singing a totally different tune. Compared to the Chanel Couture the Valli—despite the bold color—ages her and covers her up too much while the sheer bottom of the Chanel Couture that gives a peekaboo to her legs is so young and perfect on her.
Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad. Not surprised by the low V at all, but the deep shade suits her so well that I can’t help but love this on her. I wasn’t a fan of her Oscar dress at all, but this was a great change that you can’t do anything else but stare ugh.
Kate Bosworth in Prabal Gurung. The Prabal Gurung Fall 2012 show was one of my favorites (I’d be lying if I said I didn’t die over the gown that looked like pure liquid gold and had the perfect slit). Naturally Kate Bosworth killed it in one of my favorite Prabal Gurung dresses from the collection. Her slicked back hair was a great touch and it let the dress show itself, ugh can’t get over it.
Elizabeth Banks in Chadwick Bell. Speechless. Why wasn’t she on the carpet, I mean really! They had Jennifer Lopez and her boobs make an appearance, but they couldn’t have Elizabeth Banks looking like a beautiful mermaid?!
Zoe Saldana in Marios Schwab. When I looked through his collection and saw this dress I kept thinking “This better pop up somewhere, this better pop up somewhere” and it did! And on who better than Zoe Saldana? With soft waves, beautiful dark eyes, and a red lip she looks flawless.
